that they admonish the young women
to love their husbands,
to love their children,
Titus 2:4
LORD Jesus, we praise You for Your perfect plan. Forgive us whenever we tend to go our own way instead of on the path which You have chosen for us. Help us, O LORD we pray, to keep our mind fixed on You and to trust in Your will for our life. We are so richly blessed by Your amazing Love. Guide us that we may praise Your works to another generation and declare Your mighty acts. In Jesus’ precious name we pray. Amen.

ENGAGE — Think
What are the older women to do to the younger women?
_____ them.
We will get to the subjects of the teaching in the next few days. Let’s think (and review) how we, as the older women, should teach the young women.
APPLY — How?
In what ways are we to admonish the next generation of women? How can we teach them even though they are not our daughters by flesh and blood, not living with us, and even if we could never invite them into our house? How can we reach these young women?
We have seen in our study of verse three that we can do so by our own example of godliness. Let’s do a reality check: What kind of virtues do we exemplify? Are we doers of the Word? Do we represent what we are trying to teach the next generation — or do we merely preach at them instead of living what we are preaching?
DO — Think
Bible study is important, of course; however, what good is theoretical knowledge without the practical side of it?
Think: In what ways did you miss out on the teaching of an older woman in your life? Is there a young woman who needs your words of encouragement and who is looking for someone who could model the way of womanhood, marriage, and motherhood according to the Bible? Are you blessed to be a blessing? Could it be that God has placed you into her life right now?
Reach out to the women of the next generation.
