For in fact the body is not one member but many.
1 Corinthians 12:14
LORD Jesus, we praise You for You are the Word of God. You speak and it is so. By Your Word the heavens, the earth, and all things in them were created. Your Word heals and is so powerful that even the winds and sea obey You. Enable us to cling to Your Word and to Your Promises — in good times and in bad, during sunshine and when the rain falls. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
Depending on the overall size of the finished picture and the size and number of the individual pieces of the jigsaw puzzle, it is more or less challenging to be put together. The bigger the puzzle the longer it will take to finish. The smaller the pieces of it the more patience it will call for to have it all done.
The reward, however, is indescribable. First, it comes little by little and through watching the pieces finding their place inside the big picture. Once the jigsaw puzzle is done, we stand amazed before it and wonder how we could have completed such a task.
The most important fact to remember is to keep all of the pieces of one jigsaw puzzle together. If one of it is lost we cannot rest until we have found it.
Now some of these pieces are really tricky to fit into the whole picture, are they not? They seem to do their job at a certain place of the puzzle until another piece, which matches much better, comes along. The misplaced one needs to go back out to wait until it finds its true place. Having found the real spot, though, o how it will fit in like none other could!
All of the many pieces have to be of the same. We will get more into that in Friday’s post.
