A Psalm of Thanksgiving.
Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!
LORD Jesus, we praise You for You are the Creator of everything — all people, all places, all things. You are the Owner and Master over all. Forgive us, O God we pray, whenever we neglect to seek first the Kingdom of God. Enable us to see that You are LORD over all — over the heavens and the earth and everything in it. Hallelujah! In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
Most of us have been taught to say a proper “Thank you,” after receiving something from others, meaning, being thankful for the present they have given, for their kindness toward us. How much gratitude, however, are we able to show when it comes to people, places, and things we are so easily taking for granted?
Do we thank Christ the LORD for them? Why, or why not?
Some of us have been raised in Christian homes. Praise God for that! So we would have been taught about what Jesus has done for us: He left Heaven, to be born of the virgin Mary, to dwell with His people, and then to die for their sins.
Do we thank Christ the LORD for His Love and for what He has done for us? Why, or why not?
In Psalm 100 verse 1, we are commanded to “make a joyful shout to the LORD.”
through instrumental music and singing.
with thanksgiving in your heart and in adoration of Him.
through the shout for joy. Sound the alarm! Triumph for He is Jehovah, the LORD.
Praise Him, all lands,
for what He has created,
for how He is working in the life of people,
and especially for who He is: The Great I AM!
Make a joyful shout to the LORD today.
