How Can We Know the Way?

Jesus said to him,
I am the way,
and the truth,
and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.

John 14:6

LORD Jesus, we praise You, for You are the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. Forgive us, O God we pray, whenever we are watering down the Gospel due to not wanting to offend anyone. Help us to stand firm when we talk about the Way to Heaven, the Truth about Heaven, and the One who came down from Heaven to make eternal Life on earth and in Heaven possible. In Jesus’ precious name we pray. Amen.

Is there such a thing as morality without the Word of God? What about teaching people what they should and should not do without ever connecting these teachings to Christ? I mean, we do not want to offend people by telling them about Jesus… Right? Wrong!

While today’s blog post is not for review purposes, I still want to challenge you to watch a movie called “Time Changer.” The following is a thought provoking quote that should serve as a little teaser for it:

Without the authority of Christ, mankind is merely left to compare ideas, and morality becomes a matter of opinion.

—Dr. Norris Anderson (Gavin MacLeod) in Time Changer (2002), a Christiano Film

This quote is only 5 seconds out of the whole movie. It will not have such an impact on you than after you watched the complete film.

You can buy/download/rent the movie at ChristianFilms.com There are two editions available (one edition to watch at home, another edition to show in church). You can also watch it on Youtube: Time Changer it is, however, well worth buying and watching over and over again.

Know Christ Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life today.
